The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 1 — the Boston Mailers Union — gives workers a voice on the job to ensure that they are treated with the respect, dignity, and fairness they deserve.

The Boston Mailers Union strives to enforce justice and democracy in a safe workplace, and to provide a better quality of life for all workers and their families. We have consistently delivered strong contracts, sought to protect and adapt our craft in the face of changing technology, and provided invaluable services to our membership.

Boston Mailers Local 1 affiliated in 1987 with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and represents Insert Machine Workers, called Mailers, at the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe newspapers.
